pretty little studio blog hop

Ready for some more Christmas inspiration from the Pretty Little Studio girls?

Visit each of these blogs for additional holiday projects, and be sure to leave a comment by Dec 5th at each stop. Each of us will be giving away a $10 gift certificate to the PLS store, and there will be a grand prize $25 gift certificate awarded to one lucky person who comments by Dec 5th on the PLS blog!

For this blog hop I finished two projects: the first are the advent cones. Just like an advent calendar there are 24 cones that look just adorable on the mantle. Place a little treat under each.

To create cut 24 circles in various sizes (i used a salad plate, dinner plate, and a bowl ... very high tech tools :) ... as templates). Roll into a cone shape and adhere with permanent adhesive. Make sure to use a clothes pin or paper clip to hold in place with it dries. I used circle punches to create places for numbers. Using thickers, chipboard, and various alphas I had in my stash I numbered each cone. Next, I drew 24 stars, cut them out and went to town with the stickles.

For my next project I took simple kraft gift bags and embellished with PLS paper.
